Owner James Palin, of J.P. Finishing Touches, will tell you his shop has an eclectic mix of treasures, and with one step inside you will agree. Vintage beaded handbags, buttery Yellow Ware pottery, ornately framed landscapes and back issues of Life magazine greet you immediately. James has been handling estate liquidations, both entire and partial contents, and antique and collectible sales and appraisals at this location since 2003, opening only on weekends.

With over 20 years of experience in the antique business, his extensive knowledge has been called upon by decorators needing to stage an historic home for sale or for a special event. His customers are not only casual weekend browsers but also private clients searching for specific collectibles, and realtors needing to manage an estate's contents. He also works with dealers and consignments. Larger pieces surrounding his front porch might include wrought iron patio furniture or wooden architectural posts. Inside, a collection of teacups and saucers, 1960 era editions of Nancy Drew books, and a lovely cherry side table. Truly, there is something for everyone!
