In 1956, Gennaro and Carmela Sbarro came to America from Italy, with their three sons: Joseph, Mario, and Anthony. They opened their first restaurant in 1967, in New York City, with a wish to create a fast and efficient way to deliver to you the finest Italian cooking. Today, Sbarro is a chain, with Italian entrees such as meatballs, chicken parmigiana, sausage and peppers and more. It also offers pizza, pasta, salads, and desserts. This branch is in the Westfarms Mall.
