<p>The Stanley-Whitman House provides a snapshot of Colonial-era life. This living history museum and National Historic Landmark offers classes, exhibits, programs and events to help people experience life in early Farmington.</p>
<p>The house was built sometime before 1720 and offers visitors a look into how people lived and worked during that time. Outside the house are raised gardens from which earlier residents grew their food.</p> <p>Seasonal events showcasing period traditions are hosted throughout the year.</p>
