Tunxis Mead Park

<p>Tunxis Mead is the home of Farmington soccer. From 5-year-old rookies to Farmington High's stellar team, most of the town's soccer players gather here on Saturdays during the season.</p> <p>In addition to soccer fields as far as the eye can see, the park also has two baseball fields, a basketball court and a refreshment stand. For younger siblings brought to the field, a playground is a welcome distraction.</p> <p>The town's skate park is at the Mead and is a local hotspot for older kids with either skateboards or bikes.</p>
