Special programs like reading recovery for grades 2 to 4 and an early-intervention math program for first graders are also in place to ensure every child keeps up.</p> <p>East Farms is surrounded by trees and edged by a pond used for science observation. It is also across the street from Irving A. Robbins Middle School and near UConn Health Center.</p> <p>As with all the elementary schools, Extended Care and Learning offers before and after school care for the children of working parents.</p>
