It consists of 39 buildings scattered across the UConn campus and nearby areas, with doctors and offices in psychology, oncology, cardiology and orthopedics, as well as one of two neo-natal intensive care units in the state equipped to care for high-risk premature babies.</p> <p>The health center also provides care to Connecticut inmates, and students volunteer their time to run clinics for hundreds of low-income patients.</p>
