The Farmington Recreation Department  is committed to creating opportunities for all residents to enjoy…More their town and each other through various activities.</p> <p>Of course, rec soccer and Miss Beverly's dance class come to mind, but the Recreation Department also offers basketball, Hershey Track and Field, a swim team, a preschool and preschool-age enrichment activities.</p> <p>The town department now offers martial arts, field trips to baseball games and the zoo, bowling, wrestling, yoga and volleyball, as well as Mr. Avezzie's beloved Tumble Bunnies classes.</p> <p>There are also school-aged enrichment classes to alleviate vacation boredom and activities to get the whole family moving. Swimming lessons at Farmington Farms are offered through the Recreation Department and so is the Summer Concert in the Park series.</p> <p>The Recreation Department staff, including Priscilla Peale, Geoffery Porter and Theresa Solla, is dedicated to the town programs and willing to take your waivers and registration, but the department's website makes online registration easy.</p>
