Author Talk and Book Signing with Psychic Medium Sydney Sherman

On Saturday, November 9, the Farmington Libraries welcome psychic medium, Sydney Sherman, for a talk about her book, “You Are Not Alone.” This event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Main Library at 6 Monteith Drive.

"You Are Not Alone" outlines Ms. Sherman’s passage to acceptance of her life and relationships with the many spirits who inhabit her everyday world. The book goes beyond a simple biographical story of a medium. With an eye to informing and educating, Sydney Sherman approaches the paranormal with a healthy dose of common sense. Ms. Sherman encourages skepticism of paranormal claims until or unless they can be substantiated. The author looks at why and what we believe about a reality beyond our own. Her book draws distinctions between myths and the paranormal, recounts experiences with spirits, and offers hints to avoid falling prey to the frauds in the paranormal field.
