Children's Puppet Workshop and Play

Magic for children! Puppeteer and Storyteller Marilyn Price will lead children in making puppets from "found" materials, then will guide them in creating a play based on the stories of the museum's ca. 1720 historic house. After eating a special "brown bag dinner," children will perform their play for family and friends at 6:00 pm.  Guests are welcome to bring a picnic dinner to enjoy while they watch the play. If it's not too wet or too hot, the play will be performed in the museum's beautiful garden. Otherwise, we'll be in the air-conditioned museum for the performance! Program fee of $35 includes program, all materials and dinner. Reservations required: 860-677-9222 or www.stanleywhitman.org.
