My mom, my hero.
My mom, Mrs.Troyan, has always cared for others her entire life. She lost a daughter to cancer in 1976 and cared for her at home to keep her most comfortable for 2 yrs. In 1978, her mother fell IllI, and she cared for her at home before her passing. Her husband was a 10year Alzheimers patient with heart issues that she happily cared for while She was undergoing treatment for cancer herself. She is the most helpful, selfless person I have ever met, and only wish I could be 1/3 as good as she has been her entire life. In between all these major events, she helped with grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She deserves a day to be pampered, if only for devoting her life to caring for others, and always putting herself last. She was always willing and able to help a friend or church member with prayer or just about anything. A small day of pampering for a lifetime of caring whole-heartedly for all others is a small request for such a wonderful woman. Thank you. Lisa Rivkin, Burlington, CT LisaRivkin@att.net
